Your Fishing Trip

Your fishing day begins about 30 minutes before sunrise. You meet your guide and take a short drive to the ramp where your Okeechobee fishing experience will begin.

First, your gear and provisions are stowed onboard. Remember to bring a jacket since it can get chilly out on the lake. We provide coolers on the boat so be sure to bring some food, snacks and beverages. Don't forget the sunscreen and a camera for pictures of the catch of the day.

Next, your guide will take you on a short, exhilarating run to one of our favorite spots. Our guides know the best locations on the lake where "catching the fish of a lifetime is possible with every cast"!

You should know that since the record low water of 2001, the Okeechobee fishery has rebounded remarkably. Seven to nine pound bass are caught regularly. And landing 10-11 pound trophies is more frequent now than at any time in recent history.

It is our hope that at the end of your fishing day you will have enjoyed not only the fishing but also the beauty and serenity of a day on the Big "O".
